Chris has been married for almost 30 years and has 5 grown children. He enjoys running marathons and has completed over forty over many states, including the Boston Marathon. He enjoys physical activities, reading, listening to music, and watching people excel at what they do! You will find Chris with friends and family, laughing and experiencing good life together whenever possible.

Chris began his career as an educator in the Rochester City School District, as a fifth-grade teacher where he was a student and was mentored by his former teacher, Mrs. Liebschutz. This experience led to many leadership opportunities and eventually a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

Following many successful years of leading a classroom of students, Chris became the principal of a nearby private school and eventually the lead administrator of the same K-12 school. Throughout his nineteen years, Chris led numerous initiatives including recruiting and retaining highly skilled teachers and professionals, integrating tools of technology to enhance learning, and creating partnerships with many local agencies to add enrichment opportunities to maximize student learning.

Following his career as an administrator in Upstate New York, Chris moved to Northport, New York and soon after joined The School House. The School House is a special place, and he is honored to be part of such a student-focused learning environment. Schools are for Children and there is nothing better than to build and create a place that is dynamic and purposeful for Children to blossom and grow and become who they were meant to be. There is no time to waste!
