BS in Childhood Education from St. John's University with a concentration in history and a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education, CPR/AED Infant/Child and Adult Certified, currently obtaining certification in Montessori Elementary I and II in NYC.

Thomas is a sports fan, he adores history, is a dog lover, a coach, and a positive thinker who truly enjoys his job as a teacher and promoting lifelong learning.

Thomas became interested in becoming a teacher at an early age. His mother worked at his school and he saw firsthand how she was able to have such a powerful impact on so many students' lives. He believes that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Thomas obtained his Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University where he studied Childhood Education with a minor in history. Thomas was a two time semifinalist in the New York state golden gloves competition while attending St. John’s and became a member of Extraordinary Men in Education program. At St. John’s University Thomas was able to find professional development, excellence in teaching practices, scholarly research, and meaningful service-learning that helped prepare him for all challenges faced inside the classroom. Thomas graduated from St. John’s University a member of Alpha Phi Delta and helped create “Greeks against bullying”.
