Master's in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s in English. Eight years of experience as a Youth Services Librarian.

Jennifer enjoys reading (of course!), vegan cooking and baking, sewing, gardening, hiking, dragon boat racing and is an avid mahjong player.

Jennifer began her career as a Health Sciences Librarian at Columbia University and a Science Librarian at Binghamton University. Later she transitioned to Youth Services, where she focused on collection development and library programming. In this capacity, she worked at Cold Spring Harbor Library, Centre Academy in London, and Hong Kong International School. Over the last ten years, Jennifer and her family lived in London, Hong Kong and Bangkok, and recently moved not only back to the U.S., but home (Jennifer is a Northport High School graduate). She looks forward to creating a literacy environment in which every student feels welcomed and encouraged to develop their love of reading.
