During her college experience, she came across an organization called Greentree Foundation Teacher’s Ecology Workshop. This organization provided informational presentations and hands-on learning experiences designed to enhance her knowledge of Long Island’s natural world. Through this experience, Olivia was provided the skills and techniques for adapting nature study into the school/outdoor environment. She believes that learners should have a favorable and comfortable learning environment, in which they can freely express themselves and impress the world with their extraordinary talents.
