At-Home Learning: ART

Projects with an * indicate Learner-led projects that can potentially engage Learners for 30+ minutes independently.

Make a Peter Tunney original with an old book, stencils and a positive message.

Ask your child to keep a running observation of anything you’ve planted or is growing in your yard.  Each morning ask them to document the changes they’ve seen either through drawing or language.  In the end, they’ll have a book of how plants grow and please send drawings into info@theschoolhouse.org for an awesome botany project we’re getting underway.

Don’t forget about the Mandalas!  We started these in November,  but there is so much to create now we’re in the warmer months.  Use every different thing you can find to create patterns and symmetry.
