GARDEN EDUCATOR

In 2010, Dylan left behind a career in the construction industry to shape a new and more sustainable future closer to the green world. He started a small business, Home Organic Gardening Service (HOGS) and began growing food and installing organic vegetable gardens for friends and neighbors. Along the way, he received a Permaculture Design Certification and became a CCE Master Gardener.

Over the past decade or so, he has designed and installed hundreds of organic vegetable gardens, composting systems, native landscapes, fruit trees, berry bushes, irrigation, and other sustainable systems. While he has a passion for literally digging into the soil, his true passion is as an ecological literacy educator – helping all learners find the connections that exist in the natural systems which support all life. Dylan brings joy, humor, excitement, and wonder to all he does.
