EARLY EDUCATION TODDLER PROGRAM

The Little House.

 

A reinvention of child care where children 18 months to 3 years old can fulfill their developmentally appropriate productivity, early academic discovery and connection to nature and each other.

Learners at The Little House are in the Absorbent Mind development plane meaning that all six senses (and more!) need to be constantly engaged including some of the additional senses that scientists have recently discovered like balance.  Children at The Little House work on mastering their exposure to these sensorial experiences, practicing their fine motor skills, cooking, baking, caring for our hens, gardening, cleaning, making, discovering and deciding.

 

With over 50 provocations to choose from, our Little House locations give just 50 Learners a year the chance to construct their foundation as small human beings.  This means feeling safe, understanding order, appreciating tastes, sound, touch and other sensations, creating art from building to paint to drawing to mandalas, getting plenty of movement, cozy naps, adventurous stories and doing all of this in an environment especially built for them.

 

From early math and letters, Spanish, building corners our chicken coop, to cozy beds, meals together and grace and courtesy, The Little House offers a place where toddlers can explore, learn, grow, start their social and emotional journey and discover this beautiful world of ours.  

 

Educators at The Little House are AMI-Trained, the premier training for the 0-3 plane of development in addition to training in Arts, The Natural World and Social & Emotional Development.
