MS. OLGA TALANOVA
MUSIC EDUCATOR
Ms. Olga graduated from The Moscow School of Music with a degree in Music Education and Performing Arts. She has taught students from the beginner level to National Competitors for over 30 years . She has held tenure at Duke University’s String School, UNC, Cary School of Music and her own private studio.
Olga loves kids, nature, animals and all living things. She loves to go to museums, opera and concerts and to cook for her family, friends and people in need.
Olga strongly believes that no education method, however sophisticated or advanced, can achieve the same results without making Music an integral part.
She espouses the belief by Plato that “music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” Olga takes great pride that some of her students have become professional musicians and many have intense passion and love for music in their everyday lives. Olga likes to see the light in the eyes of a child - she also loves to ignite it!
