Gabby is a world traveler, as well as a lover of all things cultural. Music is the force that drives her, while language is the force that allows her to cross barriers. She was a contestant on American Idol, as well as a soloist in a traveling choir with American Music Abroad. She hopes to never stop learning, as she believes education is what connects us all, regardless of background.
Gabby has had a love of music all her life, recalling creating her own musical pieces as early as 4 years old. From banging pots and pans in the kitchen, to being a master of multiple instruments, Gabby is inspired by the world around her and the music that is found in everyday life. She has studied in Siena, Italy, to immerse herself in the Italian culture and language. With American Music Abroad, she traveled to 5 different European countries, performing sacred spirituals, as well as American Classics. She also actively teaches private music lessons on voice, piano and ukulele. You can also find her around Long Island performing at various venues. When she isn’t doing music, Gabby enjoys puzzles, word games, crocheting, and cooking.
