SCHOOL NURSE
School Nurse, AAS in Nursing from Nassau Community College, BA in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College, NYS Registered Nurse, BLS in infant/child and adult, 3 years experience as a Nurse (ages 3-21 years), 6 years experience in the classroom (Ages 14-21 years).
Kate loves to travel, hike, relax on the beach, and spend time with family and friends. She loves all things health related and wants to ensure children are healthy and safe.
Kate's passion for helping others led her to a career in Education and Healthcare. After graduating from Mount Saint Mary College in 2012, she worked in a Special Education School for six years, supporting Learner's academic and life skills. Seeing to expand her impact, Kate pursued a nursing degree. Upon graduation and licensure, she returned to her previous school district as a School Nurse, where she enjoyed combining her love for children with her healthcare expertise. Kate is excited to be a part of The School House Team and create a nurturing space for Learners.
