John is passionate about mathematics and is committed to help students learn and develop in all areas of math. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports and keeping a healthy lifestyle.
Teaching is a second career for John. He has always had a love for mathematics. After much thought and consideration, John made the decision to leave a successful career in finance to return to school to pursue his teaching degree. While completing his master’s degree in education, John led study groups with peers and found himself teaching concepts to his classmates with enthusiasm. This experience of supporting and participating in the success of fellow students in math helped to solidify his decision to become a math teacher. John loves working with young people and is proud to be part of a profession that can make a big difference in the life of a student.
