SCIENCE WORKSHOP LEADER
B.S. in Elementary Education with a Social Studies Concentration, M.A. in Elementary Education with a S.T.E.M. concentration, N.Y.S. Certified Elementary Educator, 9 years of experience as an Educator.
Kenneth is a reader, traveler, movie enthusiast, creator, and go-getter who believes
education is the key to understanding the world around you and what makes you unique.
Kenneth has always wanted to be an Educator since grade school. He enjoys
working with children and helping them to foster creativity and discover “out of the box”
solutions to problems. Kenneth obtained his bachelor’s degree from S.U.N.Y. Oswego. S.U.N.Y.
Oswego gave him the skills and expertise to create a learning environment that serves the
diversity of all students within a classroom. In his second year as an Educator, Kenneth desired
to find a discipline that mirrored his interest in discovering new ways to innovate education
and create new learning experiences. This interest led Kenneth to obtain a master’s degree
from Hofstra University that gave him the tools, support, and pedagogical knowledge to create
curriculum that supports project-based learning, digital literacy, and developing new skills that
will create a generation of innovators and thinkers. Kenneth’s passion has always been
education, and he is truly motivated every year to see students explore and be vulnerable in
their learning. Some of the greatest things that exist in our world today are because individuals
took risks and allowed their creativity to blossom. Kenneth believes that children today
deserve and need room to explore and discover that for themselves in their learning.
