MS. MOLLY PREP
LIBRARY WORKSHOP LEADER
BA in Psychology with a minor in Child Development, 7 years of experience as an Educator.
Molly is a reader, writer, coach, maker, and life-enthusiast.
Growing up, Molly always had a book in her hands. She loved reading and appreciated how stories created mirrors that gave her words about her own experiences, and how they opened windows into the lives of others. Words were (and are!) powerful, and Molly sought to help people feel seen through storytelling and authentic presence. Molly graduated magna cum laude from New York University, where she studied adult, adolescent, and child psychology, as well as child development. After graduating, Molly was a longstanding teaching assistant for the NYU undergraduate course “The Literature of Children & Adolescents,” which combined her passion for child development with the history of children’s literature. Molly went on to work in a public library, where she built a Makerspace as a resource for patrons. In the classroom and beyond, Molly loves fostering agency, creativity, the joy of learning, and a sense of connection in everyone she meets.
