MS. SHIRLEY DURAN-RAMIREZ
EDUCATOR, THE LITTLE HOUSE
NAMC Montessori Infant/Toddler Diploma
(North American Montessori Center)
23 years of Experience as an Educator
Shirley loves interior design, gardening, and traveling. Shirley believes in finding joy in
life's simple moments and brings creativity, kindness, and positivity into everything she does.
Shirley always knew she wanted to become an Educator. Inspired from an early age by
her grandmother's passion for teaching, her own passion for education truly flourished
while working as a coordinator at a special education preschool where she had the
privilege of supporting children and their families for over 10 years. These experiences strengthened Shirley's belief that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and
represented in the classroom.
After working as an assistant in a Montessori classroom and falling in love with the
Montessori philosophy and its child centered approach, Shirley earned her North American Montessori diploma in 2024. Shirley is also a bilingual educator fluent in both English and Spanish. She is dedicated to creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
