Bring THE SCHOOL HOUSE
Model to Your Community!

Building a school is one of the most meaningful things a person can do —

but it can also feel overwhelming.

Where do you begin?
What kind of building do you need?
How much start-up capital should you plan for?
What approvals, timelines, staffing, curriculum, and operational systems need

to be in place before opening day?

BUILD A SCHOOL HOUSE was created by the founding team behind The School House, the nationally recognized flagship campus where the model was born, and the creators of the American Emergent Curriculum, the educational framework at the heart of its child-first approach. Together, this pathway helps future Founders, Community Leaders, Educators, and Partners understand what it truly takes to open a nonprofit, independent School House location.

Partner, train and work alongside the best minds in advanced pedagogy, scaleable innovative models and educator cultuere.

You know you want to open a school.

You have done some research and have a good idea what's involved.
It's "GO" time.

Opening a school seems like a good idea.

But you have no clue where to start or what's involved.

You've come to the right place!

This future resource will help guide you through the early planning process — from defining your model and understanding your local requirements to estimating start-up needs, building your timeline, and identifying the next right steps. You will be connected directly to the very founders of the flagship School House, and will work in partnership to get your School House up and running.
